The first par 3 hole on the course is a fairly easy hole.  Anything short of green will roll back into a deep bunker. A shot in the bunker will make it very hard to par this hole, due to the depth of the bunker. A ball short or to the sides of the bunker will funnel back to front edge of fairway, leaving a difficult uphill shot.
